Retained search engagements are necessary when searching for senior level executives that command a combined salary in excess of $75k and require in-depth research and due diligence at both ends.

This process is methodical and time consuming therefore requires VSI to dedicate a team that consists of a Consultant , an Associate and the research staff . (This process is outlined in the process section of our site). Our fees are standard to the industry. The Client will be invoiced in 1/3 increments and expenses will be estimated prior to the start of the search, therefore avoiding the feeling of being on the clock. On a monthly basis an expense report will be forwarded to the client in conjunction with the progress report of the search.

Secured search engagements are necessary when searching for middle management professionals that command a combined salary between $50k - $74K, These positions do not require the extensive due diligence necessary for senior level positions but do have a high sense of urgency. On a secured search we invoice 1/3 to start the search and the remaining 2/3's is invoiced upon the successful placement of the candidate. Expenses will also be estimated prior to the start of the search engagement and agreed upon by the client.
