1st Phase - Assessment & Research

  • A VSI Consultant meets with the client and interviews hiring officials for clarification of position specifications.
  • Consultant finalizes the job description.
  • Research of industry and internal database is conducted for potential candidates.
  • Research results are narrowed to identify a talented pool which best matches a fit with the client.

2nd Phase - Recruitment & Qualifying

  • Possible candidates are contacted and are qualified via initial telephone interviews matching against the necessary position requirements.
  • A list of potential finalists are developed that are a close match to the clients needs.
  • In-depth interviews with potential finalists are conducted.
  • Candidates' credentials are verified and former supervisors and colleagues are interviewed.
  • A best qualified list of candidates is developed, usually 3 -4. A summary of their background and experience is prepared. This is presented to the client attached to the resume which in turn gives the client a clear picture of the candidates potential future with that organization.

3rd Phase - Interview & Negotiation

  • The VSI Consultant arranges and coordinates interviewing schedules for candidates that the client has selected for telephone or face to face interviews.
  • Candidates are prepared and counseled regarding client company, hiring official and hiring process, in order to avoid any future misunderstandings .
  • Candidates and clients are debriefed after each interview, assessing strengths, weaknesses and incompatibilities. This will allow for both the client and the candidate to assess their position in the process.
  • The hiring official is contacted and negotiations for an acceptable offer is coordinated.
  • VSI Consultant will coordinate the acceptance of an offer. Once accepted VSI will assist the client with any assistance in relocation, drug testing, etc.

4th Phase - Follow-up

  • VSI Consultant will follow up with the client and newly hired candidate for the first year.
